About FEX Global
FEX Global is in a pre-launch phase. The purpose of FEX Global is to operate a futures exchange venue in the Asia-Pacific region which will provide an efficient and cleared market that will enable risk management and trading opportunities relevant to the global economy.
FEX Global has been granted an Australian Market Licence by the Minister under s795B of the Corporations Act (the Act) enabling it to operate a futures market for energy, commodity and environmental derivative products.
FEX Global's clearinghouse, Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (“CME”) currently operates an Australian Clearing and Settlement Facility Licence granted by the Minister under s824B of the Act which will enable it to clear transactions matched on the FEX Global Market.
